I Fly Solo
This photograph was taken as I looked out the window of my office on 666 Old Country Road. Westbury, NY. It was a cold Fall day not yet winter. This bird starred at it's own reflection in the glass as I admired it, alone. Flying Solo should never be done out of pride or at the other end of the spectrum, shame. Just out of necessity. When others don't initially share our vision we have to carry on until someone eventually understands what we're trying to do. We don't stop our vision to accommodate others and make them comfortable. We fly solo until they decide to join in. It is the fire inside us that keeps us moving beyond all of the doubt.
